Travel planning for divers starts before booking the flight.
Flight times, hotel area and transfer determine how many full diving days remain realistic. Booking every module separately first often creates unnecessary driving or too little no-fly time before departure.
We plan in the right order: fixed dates and departure flight, desired diving and land regions, sensible hotels, transfer windows and only then the daily rhythm. Check binding entry, visa and health requirements with official authorities because they can change.
Arrival day
Delay, luggage and traffic make arrival unpredictable. A safety-critical course start or demanding boat day should not sit directly behind a tight landing.
Hotel and pick-up route
The exact hotel name matters more than the town alone. Remote villas or properties with similar names can change transfer time and cost.
No-dive time
Departure flight and planned altitude travel are aligned with the final dive. Current guidance, your computer and actual profile remain decisive.
Documents and insurance

What belongs in a diver’s hand luggage?
