Snorkelling

In detail

Bali’s reefs begin directly below the surface.

Snorkelling is not a side activity but its own way to experience coral, turtles and reef fish. Sheltered bays around Padang Bai can work beautifully; the actual site follows swell, visibility and water confidence.

Couples, families and groups with divers and non-divers can often share one day. We discuss children’s ages, swimming ability, mask experience and flotation needs in advance.

A proper briefing

Mask, snorkel, fins, surface equalisation, buddy proximity and the return to the boat are explained clearly.

Not every reef suits everyone

Current, boat traffic and entry vary. We choose comfort before a famous name.

Coral without contact

Fins remain above the reef, animals are not chased or fed, and nothing is touched or removed.

Trips & companions

Snorkel independently, together or as a non-diving companion.

Blue Lagoon and White Sand Beach suit a local boat day, the USAT Liberty is reached from Tulamben’s black shore and Nusa Penida is a longer speedboat trip. Mantas may also be observed while snorkelling at Manta Point, but wildlife remains natural and never guaranteed.

Boat, local fees and snorkelling equipment are included according to the tour; wetsuit, guide and hotel transfer are stated clearly. Non-diving friends or family can join many dive trips when the site also supports safe snorkelling.

Compare the complete price

Earlier online guidance ranged from €26 for local Blue Lagoon trips to €70 for Nusa Penida/Manta Point. Boat, transfer, guide, equipment and group size explain the difference; the current total is confirmed in the proposal.
