In Bali, distance is planned in time rather than kilometres.
Traffic, harbour areas, ceremonies and time of day can change journeys significantly. Reliable pick-up requires the exact hotel name, address, reachable phone number and, where relevant, room or booking name.
The pick-up window belongs to dive logistics: other guests, equipment and boat departure have to align. We confirm meeting point and time before the booked day.
Airport and arrival
Delays and baggage delivery make arrival day unsuitable for tightly scheduled water programmes.
Hotel changes with equipment
Luggage volume and dive gear are considered in vehicle and timing.
Realistic return
Boat return, traffic and several stops affect hotel arrival; evening appointments need a buffer.

Airport & mobility
A private transfer instead of an uncertain chain of connections.
Earlier online guidance for a one-way private airport transfer ranged from €35 for one person to €55 for six. Vehicle, destination, luggage, arrival time and current costs are now confirmed in advance.
Bemos, public buses and shuttles can serve individual routes but are often impractical with dive luggage and fixed boat times. A metered or fixed-price taxi and a pre-booked private driver are more predictable. Car or scooter rental requires the correct licence, local traffic experience and suitable insurance.

Where is Paradise Diving Bali located?
Our dive center is in Padang Bai on Bali’s east coast, with direct access to Blue Lagoon, White Sand Beach, Gili Mimpang and many other sites. Pick-ups from several holiday areas can be arranged.
Do you teach and guide in English and German?
Yes. Courses, briefings and trip planning are available in English and German. Simply tell us your preferred language when you enquire.
Can beginners and experienced divers travel together?
Yes. We create suitable programmes for different experience levels and coordinate shared days so everyone enjoys the holiday.
When is the best time to dive in Bali?
Bali can generally be dived year-round. Conditions and encounters vary by region and season. We recommend suitable sites for your dates and experience.
