Overview

Experience Bali thoughtfully

Bali looks compact on a map but is varied and traffic can be heavy. Fewer stops with more time often make a better journey.

We combine suitable land modules with your diving days, considering rest, distances and respect for local traditions.

  • Experience local culture respectfully
  • Allow enough rest between activities
  • Estimate Bali transfer times realistically
  • Check current advice with official sources
Bali Information

In detail

Good preparation leaves more room for Bali once you arrive.

Climate, entry, health, money and mobility should be checked against current official sources. Older blogs and forums help with experience but not binding rules.

Keep important documents, insurance numbers and contacts available offline. Tell us early about health considerations, dietary needs, limited mobility or special equipment.

Weather is regional

Rainy season does not mean continuous rain; wind, swell and visibility differ by coast and month.

Money and payment

Card acceptance, cash needs and possible fees are clarified before travel; sensitive payments use confirmed channels only.

Health and insurance

Travel-medicine advice and insurance covering diving, chamber treatment and repatriation are strongly recommended.

Check entry now

Visa, passport and extension without stale year labels.

For eligible nationalities, Visa on Arrival or e-VOA currently grants an initial 30-day stay and can be extended once for another 30 days. The official fee is IDR 500,000. A passport generally needs at least six months’ validity at application or entry; onward travel and other documents may also be required.

Visa-free short visits apply only to officially listed nationalities and purposes. Longer stays, work, special travel documents or a different purpose require the correct visa category before departure. Nyepi stops normal traffic, airport operations and public activity across Bali; its exact date is confirmed annually under the Balinese calendar.
